New Ad: NY Women Say NO to George Amedore
The Committee for a Pro-Choice New York has a radio spot across the Capital Region and Hudson Valley reminding voters why they rejected anti-choice, anti-woman George Amedore in 2012, in favor of pro-choice champion Sen. Cecilia Tkaczyk. Listen to the ad here - and share on social media! We need to get the word out that as long as George Amedore says NO to progress for women, women will say NO to him!
Senate Leaves Full Equality Behind AGAIN
The 2014 New York State legislative session ended on Friday, June 20th, and the Senate left the Women’s Equality Act on the table yet again, failing New York’s 10 million women for the second time. Read more at our press release.
Our Television Ad in Buffalo
Check out our new television ad airing in the Buffalo media market clarifying the impact of the full 10-point Women’s Equality Act - because women should be trusted to make their own health decisions!

Women's Equality Act passes the Assembly!
On Monday, January 27th, the Women’s Equality Act cleared its first hurdle of 2014 when the New York State Assembly passed the full 10-point bill as one of its first points of order for the year! Visit our Protect Choice Now website to see how your Assembly member voted on full equality!
Protect Choice Now
At the beginning of 2014 and the new legislative session, we launched our Protect Choice Now campaign to hold our State Senators accountable to New Yorkers’ values and priorities. Join the campaign to Protect Choice Now for all New Yorkers – because New York women can’t have full equality without complete control of their reproductive future!
